It’s a perfect Polar balance of qualities: sponge-like absorbency, without being too heavy and cumbersome, and the softness of 580GSM microfibre, as well as the agitative effect and large surface area of multiple fine strands. Working together with soapy water, the soft mitt leaves a streak-free finish and minimises the possibility of scratches.
Compared to wash pads, mitts and sponges that offer little in the way of grip when your hand is inserted, or require too much grip, which can tire you out, the Polar Mitt fits like a glove, with comfortable fitted spaces for your fingers, as well as a tapered cuff for improved fit. The result is greater control of the mitt, and more precise results.
To keep your Polar Mitt clean and free from contaminants, it’s supplied with a washable mesh bag. Washing the Polar Mitt inside the bag protects it during normal machine wash cycles, and doubles as a storage bag between uses. Both the Polar Mitt and mesh bag can be washed at just 30 degrees for lower energy consumption.
While it’s designed as the perfect Polar Series companion for Polar Wash use, the Polar Mitt is completely at home with any of your favourite car wash formulas.

A: Polar Mitt is a more premium offering and has been designed to complement the Polar Range. It is manufactured from higher quality materials and has a finger split to ensure a more secure fit. It is supplied with a wash bag that can also be used for storage.
Q: Is Polar Mitt be cleaned in wash machine?
A: Yes, you can wash Polar Mitt in the wash machine up to 40 degrees celsius
Q: What is best way to wash and store Polar Mitt?
A: We recommend using the washbag to wash your Polar Mitt in the wash machine, and it can also be hand washed. The wash bag can also be used as storage bag to keep your Polar Mitt clean while not in use.
Q: Why does Polar Mitt have a seam in middle of the glove?
A: The seam is there to keep better grip during the washing process. It will give you more grip and control for a better and more efficient car clean.
Q: Does Polar Mitt release colour when I clean it in wash machine?
A: No but always wash separately and without softener.
Q: Can I wash Polar Mitt with cloths?
A: Yes, as long as those cloths have not been used with abrasive (polish) products. These fine residues may become embedded in the microfibre strands in your Polar Mitt, which could cause fine scratches in paint when next used.
